Both the “Man from Ironbark” and the “Oldmeadow Memorial”
are installed at the “Dromkeen” homestead
now the “Australian Children’s Literature Museum”
at Riddells Creek, Victoria.

The “Oldmeadow Memorial” features characters from popular Australian Children’s Books. It was designed and realised by Tessa Wallis, in recognition of the imagination and achievements of Joyce and Court Oldmeadow, founders of “The Australian Children’s Literature Museum”.		The book entitled the “Man from Ironbark”, a poem by Banjo Paterson, illustrated by Quentin Hole was the first book launched at “Dromkeen”. The sculpture of “The Man from Ironbark” by Tessa Wallis was commissioned for the Centenary of Federation.
